Although we all try to stick to our meal plan there may be times when you need to record a meal that is not in our database.

Where possible you should try and determine the total calories you have eaten in that meal.  You can then reduce/increase other meals in your plan to balance your calorie intake for the week.

You can also replace a meal that occurs later on in the week (this is great for when you know you are going out for dinner for example) and set the calories in advance. You can then swap out other meals for the rest of the week to balance out your weekly intake.

Step 1

To replace a meal, open the BiteRite app and tap on the Meals section. Find the meal you want to replace and tap on it.

Step 2

Now tap on the Custom Meal button.
Note that this will not appear if you have already created a shopping list for this meal.

Step 3

Type the name of the meal or the occassion. Enter in the total calories (or as close as you can determine), then tap Replace Meal.
